    No, law enforcement is the responsibility of the local jurisdiction or the Coast Guard. As an Auxiliarist, you will have the opportunity to work with both of those entities but do not have law enforcement powers.

Is there a fee associated with membership?

    Yes, there is a small annual dues for members.

What kind of marine expertise is required for membership?

    You will need to be familiar with basic boating. However, you can participate in an ABC Class and learn the basics.
